The first project we pursued at the Ahmad Saheer Quranic Memorization School intended to provide comfort and protection to its students and teachers. Windows in classrooms and sleeping halls were provided with protective mesh that keeps insects out. Though simple, the mesh creates a cleaner, and safer environment, preventing the contraction of malaria. The windows have cultivated a more peaceful living, teaching, and learning space that we hope will continually serve the community at Ahmad Saheer.
